This was the ninth race of the 14-race season open to lady riders. The winners of thirteen qualifying races will be in Abu Dhabi on the 8^th November for the final.

The Moroccan lady rider Bouchra Marmoul who was partnering the seven-year-old grey Wasilew (Ontario HF x Warta) got her qualification for the final by winning this 1800 meter race from the Irish lady rider Aileen O’Sullivan and Zahim (Marwan I x Zanja), a five-year-old gelding.

Bouchra, who has only been riding for a year, is the first female jockey in Morocco. This was her first victory in what we hope will be a first in a long history of winners.
